QuantumSweep (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a mobile cleaning and optimization application (“App”) for Android devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use our App, and your rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA).

By installing and using QuantumSweep, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Local Device Data (Processed Locally)

To perform cleaning and optimization functions, QuantumSweep accesses and processes the following data only on your device; we do not send this data to our servers:

• Cache files, temporary files, and residual junk files
• Photo and video files (when you grant Photo and video permissions) – used exclusively to scan and suggest deletion of duplicate or unnecessary media
• Storage directory structure and file metadata (size, type, date)
• App usage statistics (locally, to identify unused apps)

2.2 Automatically Collected Non-Personal Data

We may collect anonymous, non-identifiable information to improve App performance and user experience:

• Device model, OS version, screen resolution, and language settings
• App version, feature usage frequency, session duration, and crash reports (if you opt in)
• Anonymous analytics data (no link to your identity)

2.3 Sensitive Permissions & Purpose

QuantumSweep requests the following permissions only for core cleaning functionality:

• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO (Photo and video permissions): Required to scan your media library for duplicates, large files, or unused photos/videos to help you free up storage. We do not upload, share, or access your media remotely.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to scan and clean junk files, cache, and temporary data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and optimize the App’s cleaning, storage-saving, and performance features
• To troubleshoot technical issues and fix bugs
• To improve user experience based on anonymous usage data
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests

We do NOT use your data for: Targeted advertising, selling personal data, or accessing your data without your explicit permission.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

QuantumSweep does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We may share non-personal, aggregated data only with service providers who assist us in operating the App, subject to binding data processing agreements.

Our App may contain third-party SDKs (e.g., analytics, crash reporting) that collect anonymous data as described in their respective privacy policies. You may review these policies within the App or on our website.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls. However, no electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

All local data processed by QuantumSweep remains on your device and is not retained by us. Anonymous analytics data is retained only as needed for improvement purposes and is periodically deleted.
